(borsch with meat dumplings)


ingredients

for barszcz
1:5 dilution beetroot juice to chicken soup (see recipe for rosół)
1 tbsp sugar
to taste salt and cracked pepper (usually lots)
to taste lemon juice of one lemon
for uszka
filling
200 g beef cutlets (taken from chicken stock in rosół)
50 g onions, chopped
to taste salt and pepper
dough
300 g all purpose flour
2 units eggs
125 mL water
to taste salt
1 tbsp oil, if needed
