(serves two, to serve more simply increase ingredients proportionally)


fried rice
600 g cooked long-grain rice; cook night before (200g raw rice will make 600g cooked rice) and leave in fridge overnight, this prevent the rice from getting too sticky
1 bulb white onion, diced
2 tbsp peanut oil
125 g rindless bacon, cut into short strips
100 g green peeled prawns, cut into cubes
150 g snow peas, roughly sliced
2 eggs fried on butter
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
2 stalks shallots, cut diagonally
